Ys this is a good number and very legit company, I forgot they called and put in the number, thanks to Carol, I do remember the call. Not a scam/spam/ etc..Thank you Carol. Unfortunately there is no "call type" that lets you enter "Legit business" or Scammer, for that matter.
Report by Carol Long ago Unknown
This is actually Prudential Financial, legit business so maybe they just got a wrong # when they called you.

I got conned into magazine subscriptions last year and in will NOT happen again! If you get a call from this number, let them know you are filing a harrassment claim and demand to speak to a supervisor or just hang up.  I'd like to know how they got my cell phone number anyway.

This is a COMPLETE SCAM. Same as all above, they keep calling at inconvenient times, but if you all back Its not a working number. Remember, if it is a legitimate company, request SNAIL MAIL information and they should have no problem sending it to you. This company however, will do no such thing. Because it is horse s***, and they are trying to rip you off. What the heck is the use of a "no call list" if they always call you anyways, and how do they find your cell phone number!?

got a call from these people yesterday.  Have you been to a recent golf show in your area?  didn't catch the name of this company, but I had filled out a 'register for free golf trip' form.  They were calling to tell me I won a trip to Orlando FL for 4days/3nts and golf every day at Orlando Hilton for 4 adults and had 18mos to use the trip...wanted $498 and my credit card..I said no to credit card and to mail me the info...they said they do calls bcz only the 'first 50 winners to accept and register' will get the deal.

727-210-6876

20 Report Long ago Unknown
its a scam, clear as day, you won a "free" trip but they ask for your credit card info, don't be fooled, never give your credit card info over the phone! If it's not a scam they will have no problem sending you information by mail, don't do email, always request mail

These people won't stop. They told me I won a trip but I was disqualified because I am unemployed. But they keep calling. I fought with the magazine company to cancel my subscription. They did after I made threats about them lying to me in their sales pitch. They put me on the do not call list, but the sweepstakes people still call.  And to top it off, the magazine people kept my initial $40 as a cancellation fee and sent me a bunch of magazines I didn't even originally order. Lame.

727-210-6876

20 Report Long ago Unknown
What is the purpose of the "do not call" list? They call you anyway and it's almost impossible to find out the actual company name.

The perfect response to these people is perhaps a reference to their sexual orientation or perhaps their mother's profession (the old one of course).  You can't be charged with making an obscene phone call if the telephone records indicate that you never made a call.  This stuff has to stop and the politicians don't seem to have the power to do it.  We must make it as unpleasant for the caller as they make it to us.  If they don't like hearing about the things that I would love to do to their mother perhaps they will quit calling.  At the very least I get the satisfaction of having upset them as much as they upset me.

I received a couple calls from this number a couple weeks ago and I spoke to a man who sounded like he had some problems or something.  He told me that I had won a trip to Florida but that I had to pay out of my pocket to get to Florida to claim my prize.  I actually do have magazine subscriptions but I never authorized anybody to enter me in any kind of sweepstakes.  I told the man I had no interest in this and to not call this number again.  He was real weird with me then he hung up.  This past Saturday and Sunday I was out all day each day and this number appeared on my caller ID again.  I am so fed up with this.

This is a sweepstakes company that works for a magazine sales company.  The magazine company sells you hundreds of dollars worth of magazine subscriptions and then you are entered in a sweepstakes for a "free" trip to somewhere in Florida.  This number is calling to tell you you are a winner of their "free" trip.  As far as I can tell it is a big hoax.  I paid several hundred dollars for magazines that I only recieved for 3 months and was supposed to recieve for two years.

just got done speaking with a "ryan davis" from Cash advance company,"we have over 200 companies"  stated i was approved for  a 3200.00 dollar loan that would be paid back at 150.00 per month for 24 months. He attempted to put me on hold so he could "check your credit report and score" to see what "rate" i would be given.Told him to not put me on hold and if he did to just forget about the loan and good bye-he immediately told me he had my credit score and "it's below 600" so we will need a deposit from you as proof of "your good faith to pay us back as we are a private lending service"  To "prove myself" he requested that I  send him 150.00 dollars via a prepaid card and then "we will deposit your money right away ok?" after asking him to repeat himself numerous times (hard to understand him) i got the following address  27190 arrow point trial  corona california 92883   and the company name is cash advance.told him i needed this info so i could give it to my local police department and the state attorney general's office (in NJ) also to my cell phone carrier.  He then started asking why do you need to do that? but i hung up instead of answering him.

Unfortunately, I had a strange feeling I might have been presented with an all "too-good-to-be-true" loan opportunity and was duped into purchasing not one, but TWO of the aforementioned OneVanilla PrePaid Visa Cards in the amounts of $150 and $135, making my losses $295 in all. The "Advance PayDay Loan" Representative maintained the guise of "Brian Davis" the previous 2 days stating the cards I needed to purchase and provide him the numbers were for show of good-faith payment and FDIC taxes as indicated by my financial banking institution which came up randomly due to my not-so-perfect credit rating. I went as far as to verbalize my skepticism at that point, prior to my purchasing the second prepaid Visa, but he assured me my loan hung in the boughs, waiting to be released and that it would take 60-90 days to request a refund of the initial $150 already attributed to the cause. So, I proceeded. Both cards were exhausted of funds in Milpitas, CA to INFINITY DEBT 1.And today, when I attempted to call this joker's #, his voicemail addressed himself as "Adam White," so I left my name and number, not expecting a call-back...but, Mr. Davis prevailed with yet another hitch, requesting now a $94 transaction fee, stating funds would have been released midnight had this additional expense been included! I stated firmly I no longer wished to pursue the loan and I wanted my money refunded. He argued the point, saying his accounting department cannot retract the wire and how I would have to wait 60-90 days for the refund when I could just as easily receive the loan and all the money I've paid up front all at once...I said I'd wait at least half-a-dozen times before he gave up and said he'd request the refund, which I'm certain I'll never see again.

This is definitely a scam, big time.  I got the same letter.  The phone number on it is fake.  The letter I got is from "AlTruck" in Kitchener, Ontario.  There is an actual business called AlTruck, it's a truck dealership, why would they want you to send Western Union money to evaluate the effectiveness.  It's asking me to send 3300 from their "cheque" to New York.  Oh and it stresses that this is an audition, the quicker you do it the better.  Don't even wait for their cheque to clear!!! LOL.  Anyways I'm bringing this letter to the police department tomorrow, it's clearly a scam but the sad thing is some desperate people will probably fall for it.  OH and if you google street view the address of this business it's an empty parking lot, lol....

I am to keep $450 as probationary training pay, spend $100 to secret shop Walmart, send $3206.97 through Money Gram or Western Union to secret shop these companies as well.I have contacted my local tv consumer reporter to see if this has been recognized as a scam or not.

I was at school today when I received the call.  Again, like the rest of the people here, I was told to contact a Bill Russel.  There were three numbers used--773-353-3211,773-698-8922, and 866-214-6082, all from Illinois.  This is completely STUPID. Are people really this lame to do this to other Americans?  I somewhat understand why they do this in the African countries, but why do Americans want to scam other Americans?  These people should be thrown away to Iraq, or somewhere like that.

I got a call today from 773-385-9665 Prize Comm on my caller ID. I did not pick up so the male caller left a message on my VM. He claimed I had entered my email address for a Lincoln Navigator or other prizes and my ticket had been pulled. He gave my full address. I know that I never entered such contest and already being a skeptic, I Googled the phone number and here I am.

I received a call from this number saying that my Yahoo email address had been entered into a contest and had been drawn for the "Lincoln Navigator" prize and I was now guaranteed one of the 4 "Big" prizes.  Definitely knew something was fishy as I no longer use that email address and when she tried to verify my information she rattled off an address I haven't been at for years.  It also seemed odd that she never asked for the correct address.  I told her I didn't want to get involved with this to which her response was that she didn't want to take up my time and she wasn't trying to sell me anything but if I wanted to get a pen and paper she would give me the name and number of my "regional prize director" for me to call about my prize.  I told her no thanks and hung up.

The female who left the message had my First & Last name along with my full address and email address.  She left a number for me to call but was talking so fast that I couldn't make it out.  So instead I googled the number in my phone and this site appeared with these comments about the call.  I didn't remember filling anything out online either so I immediately felt that the call was not on the up and up.
