Received call about 8PM, answered and no one on the line. I am on national do not call list. We are probably better off complaining to regulators of do not call list. It may be the only way to put a stop to this.

These people keep calling us. The caller ID shows "Wireless Caller" and the number is 210-204-1870. They want to speak with "XYZ" that may not be available. They then basically go silent. How annoying!

Phone #: 610 897-7291  Caller ID:  PennsylvaniaPhone #: 610 897-2591  Caller ID:  Pottsville.Called once soliciting something about a white paper.    I told them no thank you and asked them to politely remove me from there call list.   Since that time they have called at about once every 3-4 weeks. Now, when caller ID shows area code and that ID, I pick up the the phone, put it on the desktop and take a 15 minute break.   Maybe they will get bored saying "Hello?  Hello?  Hello?"   Then again, probably not.

Caller asked for VP of marketing who does not come in to the office on a regular basis. Then asked for a marketing manager; wanted to dicuss "marketing strategy." I'm in the marketing dept and told her I could take the info, she asked what my title was. I'm not a manager and told her as much. Replied that I wasn't high enough in the organization to take info. Manager is going out of town and won't be available, if she can't send the info down to a lowly coordinator such as myself then she'll have no luck getting ahold of a manager. Rude!

Man called on company phone and wanted to speak to the person in charge of Safety Compliance Issues. When he was told that we had an independent company that took care of that aspect of our business, he said " you don't understand, I AM with OSHA". Unfortunately we got disconnected and when I tried calling the number back, the call would not go through. I then googled the phone number and saw these postings. As soon as I saw this sight, I contacted OSHA office in our state and reported them for impersonating a federal employee. I also told OSHA about this sight and was told that they would look into the situation and that no one should be impersonating a federal employee.caller: 610-897-2591

Idiot woman asked for who is in charge of IT or [named another employee]. Said she was calling from Business Brief regarding the employee's account. I put her on hold and waited a minute, then told her the employee was busy and she could leave a message with me. These morons will never leave a message and always say they will call another time. If I have a chance before they hang up, I tell them it doesn't matter when they call, I will always screen their call and they must go through me before they can take the time of our busy employees.

I just had a very odd call from these guys.  I am the CMO of a publically traded company and they kept pushing and pushing to ask questions on my marketing strategy.  Felt very odd.  I told them nothing other than what was publically available information.  Every time I pushed back asking them why do you need this the woman would say " to give you your free white paper". I never asked for nor wanted a free white paper, they had cold called me!  A 3 minute call that was 3 minutes of time I wasted

Its funny, the lady that called was also really loud, and she asked to speak to the person in charge of finance.  When I told her they werent here, she was really insisting on speaking to someone in finance, and when i transferred her to the accounting dept, they told me that she said she was calling from the Daily News. WTF? And when i tried to call the number back, the operator keeps saying that the number is being dialed incorrectly.

Got a call from 610-897-2591 Caller ID was Pennsylvania - he wanted to talk to someone in our finance department. I screened the call by asking if you'll give me some info I'll get you to the right person on the first try. He told me he was Ryan with Progressive Business and had some questions regarding our finance operations. I put him on hold counted to 45 and went back in and told him the La Reeka Sellers - made up name - said she wasn't iterested -- then I hung up. LOL I just love @#$@# with those people.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.ABC News released an investigative report on this scam in June. The FTC has indicted one of its ringleaders for criminal fraud:http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/phantom-debt-co ... 16512428&page=1http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2012/08/bgm.shtm

This is a scam.  They called my 67 year old mom who threatened to garnish her whole social security check for $633.33 or they would have the police to pick her up.  My mom never took out loan, doesn't have a checking or savings account and couldn't have possibly taken out a payday loan.  They didn't try to make payment arrangements - They wanted to know how much money she had available to give them.  If she didn't have anything, they were demanding the $633.33 or threatened to arrest her.

I got a call from the same number too.. They said they are from department of justice.. They told me I have a warrant of arrest but I could still remove the warrant if I pay $675 using money pack that I could buy at Walmart.... I called the number that they gave me and it's supposed to be the department of justice but I was shocked because I didn't have hard time calling the DOJ., the receptionist answered right away...so I know it's a scam...

They are also using the Birmingham Alabama police department and making it look like the number is comong from the Police department. They are telling people to go to Walmart and get a Walmart prepaid card, instructing the person not to activate it and to call them back at 201-275-0518 and give them the codeoff of the back of the card.

He need to get his a** arrested by the State Police. If he's in India, he should get arrested by his own State's Police but too bad they have different laws, and all the other political crap. Either way that guy and his group is asking for trouble.
